How do I turn of the Launchpad on a NX3/ZX system? Print

Some customer want to go directly to the NX3/ZX login page and do not need the Launchpad that enable you to choose between the software's GUI or Command line interface. In order to do this you will need to access the systems Console which can be done either through IPMI or with a Monitor/Keyboard directly attached to the system.

Launch IPMI or Connect a Monitor/Keyboard directly to the NX3/ZX.
Press "Ctrl-Alt-T" to enter into the Console Tools Menu. Next choose "Web services management" at the bottom.

Choose "Access settings"

Scroll down to "Enable launch pad" and press the spacebar to un-check mar the box and hit "Apply".

Now when you enter in the system IP to access the web GUI it should bring you directly to the NX3/ZX login page instead of the Launchpad. If you want to re-enable the Launchpad just follow the above steps to get back into the "Access settings" and enable the Launch pad and hit "Apply".
