First you need all flash pools or pools with flash caching as trim is only used for SSD.
Second, go to Pools -> Configuration
Turn on Trim globally for the pool
Then click on the Pools -> Status tab
Look over to the lower right for a manual trim. Go ahead and run it. The instructions say to manualy run the trim a couple of times a year even though the global trim is on.
