Caution - only use Jumbo Frames if you are the network engineer. It requires setting on the switch and client ports as well as the NAS so knowledge of this subject outside of this KB article is required.
To set Jumbo Frames on NX2/ZX from the console:
- Use CTRL+ALT+W to open the Hardware Configuration menu
- Select Tuning Options
- Select Jumbo Frames Config
- Select the interface you want to set the MTU for, and set the value to 9000
