Some NX2/ZX's will use a RAID adapter, mostly systems that require encryption on the drives. Below is how to use the NX2/ZX console to connect to the RAID adapters to change their GUI login passwords or run limited CLI commands.
- Either use IPMI or connect a monitor and keyboard to your system, if using IPMI launch Remote Console.
- Once in the console you can hit "F1" or "H: to bring up the help menu if needed but to access the contollers you will need to hit "ctrl-alt-r".
- Type in the system password, it will not show you typing as its hidden.
- Once the correct password is typed in you should see a menu with the RAID adapters and should be able to select the adapter you wish to work with.
