Please get in touch with support for the CaraOne client download link where you will also find the Adobe integration files for CaraOne.
- After opening the provided download link, download the premiereExt.zip from the "Adobe Integration" folder
- Ensure Premiere is stopped. Extract premiereExt.zip extension and execute the "ex_inst.win" Windows script to install it, accepting all security warnings. Premiere needs to be already installed for this step.
- Launch Premiere and check that the Pymiere Link Extention is started (Premiere -> Window -> Extensions)
- Browse to the unzipped CaraOne client folder - typically C:\CaraOne\localDist_Windows on a Windows.
- In the "localDist_Windows" folder, launch the "premiereapiRest" application.
- Hit "more info"
Click run to allow. After running it will open a terminal-type window, just minimize for normal operation. This window will display the actions being sent from the CaraOne client to Pymiere Link
- It will launch a terminal window. Leave it running and ensure it says "Starting RestController". You are ready to launch CaraOne to find a clip and insert it into Premiere.
- Here is the CaraOne Adobe Premiere Integration Explained
- You can add this PremiereAPI to your start-up list for launching at computer boot time. The Pymiere Link will auto start.
- Via the roadmap, we will create an installer for this in the future
